Dear Fellow Democrats,
The annual fish-fry, hosted by the Beaufort County Democratic Party, will be held this year on Saturday July 25th from 3-6 PM at the beautiful Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort. I am writing to ask your consideration to not only attend but also to be a sponsor of this special event.
This year’s Fish Fry will feature Democratic candidates for Governor of South Carolina, as well as our Superintendent of Education Jim Rex who is seeking reelection in 2010. It will also offer an opportunity to socialize with fellow Democrats from all over Beaufort County. There will be local entertainment and political news and views. For children there will be games, face-painting and balloon crafts.
Tickets are $20 for one adult and $35 for two adults; $5 for children 5-12; and $15 for Young Democrats. I would particularly like you to consider being a gold or silver sponsor. A gold sponsorship costs $200 for which you will have reserved seating for eight, a special buffet line, as well as recognition of your generosity to the Democratic Party. A silver sponsorship costs $100 and will provide four tickets, a special buffet line and recognition of your generosity.
