Friday at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Ballroom. Harold. E. Ford Jr. was the guest speaker. He served Tennessee in the US Congress for 10 years and is one of the brightest stars in the Democratic Party. He is Chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council and professor of Public Policy at Vanderbilt University.
Presidential candidates attended but didn’t speak: Clinton, Biden, Obama, Edwards, Richardson. All proceeded to
Congressman Jim Clyburn’s Fish Fry after the dinner and spoke there.
